The S3RL Saga Continues

S3RL is back for the third time on the London Sounds Exposed show this coming Friday. Why the Dragonball Z themed flyer? Well if you havn’t heard his new song then you need to, right now. Because honestly, it’s  incredible, any fan of Dragonball should agree. Check out the Soundcloud widget below the flyer to get an idea of what S3RL is all about if you haven’t heard of him before.

S3RL will be playing a 30 minute guest mix and will be show casing some of his most recent tracks and remixes. It’s going to be a show you don’t want to miss. It all kicks off at 6pm GMT on January, Friday the 13th 2012 exclusively on Digitally Imported Hardcore.

New York, New York.

After 41 hours of travel I’m back in Alaska. The flight back was a little bit more hard to bare then the flight there, because really, who wants to come back to somewhere which is presently -5 degrees Fahrenheit? I wasn’t at all impressed with Delta Airlines and their attitude towards leg room either. You are pretty much forced to upgrade to their Economy Comfort” for $100+ on almost all of their flights if you are tall, like me. Either that or you can get ill from not being able to move your legs at all. Needless to say I complained and got a $75 voucher for future travel, which I most likely wont be using. Virgin Atlantic and Alaska Airlines from now on I think.

However, I did manage to see New York City on the way back from London. Having a 12 hour layover in JFK isn’t a good thing, but at least I had enough time on my hands to leave the airport and see most of the sights the city had to offer. Big thanks to our taxi driver Mohammad, who took us to see just about everything. He dropped us off in Times Square and told us to call him when we were ready, and he would tour us around as he used to do it as a full-time job, free of charge as well. We saw the statue of liberty, ground zero, Brooklyn bridge, and much more. On a side note, Minneapolis has one of the nicest airports I’ve ever been to as well. Check out some of my random pictures below.

Excellent CANDAIR flight from JFK to Minneapolis, best one of the trip!

Welcome to JFK, the worst airport in the world!

Baggage claim at JFK terminal 3. Looks like a plane wheel?

I bought my Mum an iPad2!

My Mum has been keeping this safe, this is a flight map they gave me when I was a baby on my trip to NYC about 18 years ago.

Another angle of it, I doubt you'd be able to get anything like that these days. When I got this I was invited up to the cockpit.

Good Morning 2012

Happy New Year people! 2011 has been great, but I’m sure 2012 will be even better. Crazy people seem to think the world will end in 2012 even, but I’m sure that is a load of bollox. I spent the new year with my family at my brothers house, and I got very, very drunk. I even did a bit of kareoke, which I was terrible at.

I also braved the boxing day sales in Oxford Circus. I didn’t think Oxford Circus could get any busier from the norm, but I was wrong. I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse experience shopping in my life. Check out my photos of my random happenings in London below, including some of me drunk. I probably looked like a tourist in my own city, but who cares! I’m leaving for Anchorage on Tuesday, heading to NYC on the way home too!

London Sounds Exposed will be returning now the new year is here. Check out the January schedule below. I even got a new Sennheiser microphone for the show!
